A dentist from Hertfordshire has raised more than £6,000 for Cancer Research UK by climbing up Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa .
Anant Patel completed a 5,895m sponsored climb of the mountain along with brother-in-law, Ashvin Patel and friends Jeremy Good and Robert Osler.
Despite suffering from several health complications, the dentist said the thoughts of all his sponsors spurred him to the summit, where a Cancer Research UK banner was unfurled and a picture taken to record the event .
A 16-minute continuous loop video of the six-day climb is currently playing in the waiting room of Dr Patel's surgery in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.
All expenses have been paid by Dr Patel himself so every penny of sponsorship money has been passed to Cancer Research UK .
